Gems are the main currency in Huss Valley and are earned through normal play — no Robux required. Playing with friends triggers a team boost that multiplies Gems earned per round, and completing the bonus task shown in your Journal is the most reliable way to top up between chases.

The core movement loop is Vault (Space) to clear obstacles, Slide (C) to duck under cover and break line of sight, and Shiftlock (Left Ctrl) to keep facing the Chaser while backpedaling. Good Runners also practice sprint timing and early commitment: starting a vault or slide before the Chaser reacts avoids the recovery frames that get you tagged. Baiting — faking one direction then cutting the other — is the advanced tech that separates survivors from the downed.

Winning as the Chaser is about timing and route cutting, not raw speed. Wait for a Runner to commit to a move, then lunge through their recovery animation for a guaranteed tag. Use Clone Replicator to deploy autonomous clones that track targets while you herd others, and Size Shift to physically clear a crowd in choke points. Predict the shortest path a Runner will take and cut off alleyways instead of chasing in a straight line.

Huss Valley rotates three round types. Open-arena chases put all Runners in the arena together for a full group hunt. Choose the Chicken lets the lobby select one Runner for a targeted elimination round. When the player count thins, the round converts to a 1v1 Arena Duel between the last Runner and the Chaser. The lobby wins only when every active player escapes three consecutive rounds with no full team wipe.

Folk Valley is a gray-boxed industrial arena full of houses, alleyways and open floor. Choke points are narrow and easy for Runners to slip through but also create predictable tagging lanes for the Chaser. Houses break line of sight and let Runners reset a chase, while the open floor is fastest but the most exposed. The danger zone is where downed Runners get revived — reviving there is risky and can cost two players if the Chaser is guarding it.
